Look Past The Rain and See The Sun!

ASIA DMC Indochina Managing Director Nguyen Thi Tuyet shares her opinions about travelling to South East Asia in the summer time.

Q: What are the main benefits of visiting South East Asia during summer?

Having had the pleasure of welcoming tourists to Southeast Asia all year around, I’d say any time of the year is good for travelling; the only difference is the type of experience you can expect. Each season gives you a different experience and a clear advantage of traveling during the summer is that you can still enjoy the best destinations, they are less busy and it is economical!

Q: So having a good plan is important when visiting South East Asia in Summer?

Visitors should make a good plan before travelling to any region for any season, not only in the summer, as although we have a forecast we can never guarantee the state of the weather. Also, across Southeast Asia, there are different climates, like in Vietnam, we have three different climates from North to South, so there is always a preferred region to visit. Check with your ground handler to create a great itinerary with low chances of difficult weather.
