GENERAL INTRODUCTION

I came to Vietnam in 2008 as part of a gap year during my studies in Marketing in Southern France. I fell in love with the country and finished my master online from the office in Saigon where I was organizing adventure trips to the jungle of Madagui or the infamous Mui Ne Triathlon. I then went on to work as a cruise director on one of Bhaya Cruises’ vessels for a year. It helped me learn Vietnamese and I then joined the company’s headquarters in Hanoi for a couple of years in marketing and overseas sales and finally moved on to ASIADMC business development department in 2015.

North Vietnam for its mountainous roads that I love to ride and Danang for its incredible sandstrip to relax.

GENERAL INTRODUCTION

I have been working in the hospitality industry since graduation from the Hotelschool The Hague in the Netherlands in 1993. I have more than 20 years’ experience in Tourism & Travel industry. I am very capable of making the right connections between the Western and Asian cultures, and is a natural leader, setting a high standard of commitment and leading by example.

I started my career with working for Kuoni. From there, I led the MKT and Product Department for ICS. I found ny next challenge with the German tour operator Transorient Touristik, as the General Manager in Bangkok.  

I then moved on to leading a great team of passionate people at Khiri Travel to create unique travel experiences for guests, while positively impacting the world. Today, I is running my own DMC for discerning travellers who want to see the splendours of Thailand and discover its riches.

When I was young camping on the Southern Coast of France with the family. Total Freedom! Now we like to do the same with my wife and son.

GENERAL INTRODUCTION

It was nearly 16 years, since I started my career working in tourism.  After my graduation at the Language University, majority in German in Hanoi in I started my career path working as a Tour Leader for Asian Trails Vietnam, escorted many different groups from German Tour Operators and Travel Agencies throughout Indochina.  After 5 years I moved to Buffalo Tours, a member of TMG Group and led the sales team of German Market for both B2C and B2B business. Being a member of ASIA DMC family for a year, I continue to develop the German Market here with a commitment to provide the best travel experience for every customer coming to Asia.  We design and operate different kind of tours from soft- adventure to Luxury segment, from designed group itinerary to independent travellers.

My place of birth is Nam Dinh province, 90km southeast of Hanoi.

FAVORITE CITY/ REGION:

My favorite city is Hanoi. It is a vibrant place with a lot of buzz and the cuisine is simply out of this world. I would look forward to welcoming you on your once-in-a-life-time trip with us and share with you my love of the region.
