Edelweiss to Open New Direct Flight to Connect Zurich and HCMC

Edelweiss, Switzerland’s leading leisure airline, will commence direct flights between Zurich and Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) in November this year as part of a plan to expand its network to Asia.

An Edelweiss Airbus A340-300 will fly twice weekly between Zurich and HCMC, connecting the two cities directly. As scheduled, Edelweiss aircraft will depart from Tan Son Nhat International Airport in HCMC at 8:40 a.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays, and land in Zurich at 3:45 p.m. (local time) on the same days respectively. The new connection allows Swiss and other European tourists to reach Vietnam with ease and in comfort.

The route will be operated with an Airbus A340-300 seating 314 passengers. Edelweiss Business Class is equipped with 27 fully reclinable seats and a state-of-the-art inflight entertainment system with HD touchscreens. Economy Max encompasses 76 comfortable seats with 6 inches more legroom, increased recline and many other amenities. The 211 seats in Economy Class provide for a relaxing flight and offer an inflight entertainment system that also features HD touchscreens.
