Lufthansa launches new routes connecting Bangkok with Munich

Lufthansa, the largest German airline and also the largest airline in Europe both in terms of fleet size and passengers carried, has announced the launch of their new daily route connecting Bangkok with its hub in Munich from 2nd June, 2019. 

Flight tickets were sold from 4thOctober, 2018 with special rates across all classes.

A new Airbus A350-900 will be used, which will take off daily from Munich to Thailand in the afternoon. The new long-haul flight will add more than 2000 seats per week on Lufthansa services to the Thai capital from Munich, the state capital of Bavaria in southern Germany.

With this launch, Lufthansa will go head-to-head on the Bangkok-Munich routing with Thai Airways, which is currently the only airline offering a nonstop service on this route.
