New Direct Flights Connect Yangon and Milan

As of November 2018, Yangon International Airport, the largest and busiest airport in Myanmar, has opened a new route connecting to Milan, Italy.

Operated by NEOS Air, this route is the sole direct flight to Italy and Europe.

The new route is expected to help promote tourism between Yangon, the commercial capital of Myanmar, and Milan, a global capital of fashion and design. The weekly flight will arrive into Yangon on Tuesdays and depart on Wednesdays.

Currently the Boeing 767-300ER is the largest aircraft operational; however, after Christmas, the new Boeing 787 aircraft will join the fleet operating out of Yangon.
