Pullman Luang Prabang

Pullman has wrapped up 2018 with the opening of its first five-star hotel in the former royal capital town of Luang Prabang.

Located in the secluded countryside within just a ten-minute drive from the town centre, the Pullman Luang Prabang is built on and around lush rice paddies, in which local farmers still grow rice. In keeping with Luang Prabang’s cultural heritage, the low-rise architecture draws heavily on traditional Laotian influences from China’s Yunnan province just nearby the border. These make the 16-hectare property look more like a peaceful village amidst all the greenery than a 5-star international resort while in fact, it boasts the largest conference centre in Luang Prabang. With 123 guest rooms, suites, and a two-bedroom villa scattered amongst infinity pools, watercourse and tumbling streams, along with two bars and a restaurant, an exclusive private lounge, a fitness centre and luxury spa, this makes the Pullman Luang Prabang a destination in and of itself.

Sustainability plays a key role in its F&B offerings, with menus featuring dishes made exclusively with local produce with organic in-house dairy products, fruits, vegetables, and herbs from nearby farming communities and local buffalo homesteads.

The property has also just unveiled a new ballroom for it’s Convention Centre with five meeting rooms and a spacious ballroom. The Centre has already gained a reputation as the go-to venue for events of all kinds, from high-profile conferences to brainstorming sessions and boardroom meetings, in Luang Prabang.

Set amidst the leafy location, the world-class event space and high-spec technology are blended perfectly with the surrounding environment. There are countless possibilities for indoor and outdoor events. Beyond the event space, participants also have access to the resort facilities throughout the grounds and gardens as well as fresh organic choices for menus.

The opening of Pullman Luang Prabang enhanced the competitive advantage for the city in the MICE industry. Meetings and events guests will be able to take advantage of the onsite facilities whilst also experience one-of-a-kind responsible tourism activities, explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site and soak up Luang Prabang’s world-famous laid-back atmosphere.
