Laos and Russia have started offering mutual visa-free travel to each other’s citizens. This agreement, which came into effect on 2nd December 2017, was one of a series of bilateral agreements signed during the state visit of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to Laos in 2016.

Bangkok is going to get a new landmark and tourist attraction from mid-December with the "Dinner in the Sky" experience.
