Award-winning destination management company, ASIA DMC, has announced and welcomed Ms. Georgia Harrington as its new Sustainable Tourism Executive. Georgia has been appointed to further execute the company’s position to reduce the impacts of tourism and improve the environmental and social standing for the business and it’s partners.
Georgia comes with over 2 years of experience travelling and supporting environmental and social projects across Southeast Asia. She is also the founder of Sirens, a pop-up thrift shop providing support to local businesses; that encourages sustainability and environmental awareness through fund-raising events in Hanoi. Joining to ensure ASIA DMC’s sustainable mission, Georgia can continue fulfilling her passions. She comments: “Working with Asia DMC would allow me to gain the essential experience that I need and will provide me the leverage to progress in this field and enhance my current understanding. Coupled with my parallel passion and drive for travelling, I feel that I would add to the role of Sustainable Tourism Executive and strive in bringing recognition to our main objective.”
