Vietnam Airlines expanded its service between the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi and Yangon, Myanmar, beginning 15 June offering one daily flight between the two cities. The flight departs Hanoi at 16:45 and arrives in Yangon at 18:10. The return flight departs from Yangon at 19:10 and arrives in Hanoi at 21:40.

Additionally, Vietjet announced a new international route from Hanoi to Yangon. The new route will be available starting 31 August 2017 to meet increasing travel demand between Vietnam’s capital city and Myanmar’s tourism hub.
