Telephone area code changes in Vietnam

Landline telephone area codes in 59 Vietnamese cities and provinces have been changed as part of the first step in a long-term plan to simplify the country’s telecommunications network.

The change was first applied starting from 17 June 2017. Both old and new numbers will still be available for a period of one month, but after 17 July 2017 only the new area codes will work.

Please note that the area codes for Asia DMC’s offices and branches in Vietnam will change as listed below:
