If you are lucky enough to visit during the Chinese New Year’s celebrations you will be able to sample some ridiculously delicious Chinese dishes with a street food twist. 

Somphet market  (Chiang Mai)

The Somphet Market is an ideal place for those who want to discover some of the best Thai street food dishes available anywhere. Most of the ingredients are brought in daily from the farms with only the freshest and best selected for sale. Open almost 24 hours a day, the market itself is mostly fruit and veg, plus some fly-blown meat. In the area around the market you can find plenty of coffee and juice shops with a myriad of food stalls to satisfy the most discerning foodie.

Phuket town (Phuket)

Phuket is known as a gastronomic paradise. It is famous for its fresh succulent seafood and other famous ‘fusion’ dishes from all over Asia. You can indulge in some of your favorites like a green papaya salad whilst enjoying the outstanding scenery. However, be warned that Thai chilies pack an extra punch so be careful not to make the mistake that we did, asking for it to be extra hot.
