Discover a restoration project at Belmond Governor’s Residence

Belmond Governor's Residence, a landmark colonial-style hotel in Yangon, Myanmar unveils an innovative art exhibition, marking the start of a sensitive restoration project.

Restoration projects at Belmond Governor's Residence will take place as small scale projects around the hotel through September. The “Sense of Place” exhibit is a part of Belmond Governor’s Residence’s new art and music program that will include music and dining events, artist in residence programs, and special art cocktail parties throughout the year. They showcase a very special art exhibit that will cover all places of restoration. The bamboo panel artists will also have solo exhibitions at Belmond Governor's Residence later.

As they restore the traditional elements around the property, focusing on one small area at a time, they will have minimal disturbance to guests. Please advise your guests in advance.
