Tu Ne Community Project – Experience Rural Vietnam

The Tu Ne Community Based Tourism (CBT) Project in Vietnam’s Hoa Binh Province delivers environmentally and culturally aware tourism focused on the traditions of local Muong people.

The project offers responsible travel, unspoiled natural surroundings and authentic culture to adventurous and new destination seekers.

Tu Ne presents a wide array of activities, all environmentally and culturally responsible. Tourists can choose their preferred way to experience Muong culture through participating in village life: planting seeds, gathering fruits & vegetables, fishing, feeding the livestock; or chatting with the hospitable locals about their lives.

Thanks to the success of various poverty reduction projects by a local NGO, the Tu Ne CBT Project has received active support and cooperation from the local community the past two years. The project aims to preserve Muong cultural identity and indigenous knowledge, as well as to protect the natural environment.

Clients joining our HG Travel tour - ‘Wild Tu Ne & Community Involvement Activities Program 2 Day/ 1 Night’ - will develop their social responsibility and gain a deeper understanding of local culture. Immerse yourself in this hospitable community, build lasting friendships and let your travel help the sustainable development of the Tu Ne area.
