A new resort hotel recently opened on Mingalar Island (Phoekalar Island) near Chaung Tha Beach, allowing guests the opportunity to better explore the beaches’ untouched beauty. 

Sandoway Resort is nestled amongst coconut palms on the pristine beach front where its 59 villas and cottages are scattered along the beach and tropical gardens, most with ocean views. This year, the resort will open a sister complex named Art of Sand.
