Wyndham Grand Debute in Yangon

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has doubled its presence in Myanmar by introducing the upscale Wyndham Grand label to the country’s former capital, Yangon.

The new 291-room hotel features as part of the mixed-use 20-storey Kantharyar Centre tower, which also offers office space, serviced apartments and retail, all with views of the Kandawgyi Lake and the Shwedagon Pagoda. The theme of the hotel is attributed to the country's history, with lobby paintings reflecting the hinterland mountains, while decorations including crafted artefacts shaped as traditional vessels, all complement the city's red brick character.
